Regular meeting begins at 11:30 am, at the VFW Hall, 45 Mount Tabor Road, Morris Plains, NJ The program will begin at 1:00 pm. Althea Llewellyn, Union County Master Gardener, environmental educator, speaker and Square Foot Gardening specialist will speak on using flowers to enhance the flavors of baked goods, soups, salads and any culinary creation. She will also explain the importance of identifying edible and caustic plants.

Travel times to be announced As an annual fundraiser, HGCM will sponsor a bus trip to: Untermeyer Garden in Yonkers, NY. The 43 acre public garden was created by Samuel J Untermeyer and wife Minnie in 1917. The majestic setting overlooks the Hudson River and contains many multi cultural gardens and architectural features. Wave Hill Garden is a 28 acre urban oasis that sits high above the Hudson River in the Bronx. Along with it's beautiful gardens and woodlands, the property boasts sweeping views of the Pallisades, two historic mansions and an art gallery.
