Join the Home Garden Club of Morristown for a bus trip to two amazing gardens overlooking the Hudson River in New York. The bus will leave from the Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover Ave, Whippany, at 9:00 am and will return at approximately 5:30 pm.

Wave Hill Garden in the Bronx, is a 28 acre garden that sits high above the Hudson River, overlooking the Palisades. The property boasts many gardens including woodland gardens, aquatic gardens, wild gardens and many themed gardens.

Untermyer Garden in Yonkers is a 43 acre garden, created by Samuel J Untermyer and wife Minnie in 1917. The garden has since been donated to the city of Yonkers. The conservancy has combined horticulture, architecture and multicultural design in a natural setting overlooking the Hudson River.

Bring your own lunch to be enjoyed at the Wave Hill picnic area. Snacks and water will be provided.

Cost is $85.
